2010 Geocoinfest release: ZeeZee The Turtle

By

This is the 4th geocoin that I’ve minted and by far the most popular!  It was released at GeocoinFest (an annual geocoin convention) in the Twin Cities in September of 2010.  I minted it in 4 versions (color/plating combinations), 2 sold out in the first hour of the convention, and the rest sold out after I processed my “waiting list” that I created a few weeks before the convention.

I plan to mint more, stay tuned!!!

Geocoins are used in the geocaching hobby, which is an outdoor activity based around using GPS devices to find containers (called “caches”) in the woods.  To learn more about geocaching and geocoins visit geocaching.com, the wiki geocaching site, and the wiki geocoin site.
